Our baby in heaven.

So much for writing here everyday. Just thought I'd update for those of you who still read this. A very sad thing happened this week. I was pregnant, 10 weeks. Had a meetin with my midwife the other day, things seemed to be going alright. I had been wanting to get an ultrasound for a bit, just for closure and a peace of mind. I did this morning, and found out I miscarried. The love that I had already felt for my baby is indescribable, it gave me the tiniest glimpse at what my parents and even harder to grasp, my heavenly Father feels for me. The Lord has surrounded me with live today. I feel his peace. My heart is broken and I am quite sad, but I feel the prayers. It's amazing actually. Coming to terms with yet another change in my life is going to be hard, but I have faith that will pull Andrew and I through. I'm so blessed to have a loving husband like Andrew here. So that's us right now. Our baby is in heaven, our Naomi if it was a girl and Max for a boy. Isiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Thanks for your prayers and loving support. -e

6/25/12

Woke up today, its 23 degrees Celsius here (73 F) a very beautiful day! Went to a friends house that I am house sitting for and watered their pants etc. Then clean clean and more cleaned. Its surprising how such a small space can get so dirty! My proudest accomplishment is put all our papers away into the filing cabinet. I know it doesn't seem so great, but our desk was looking like a paper factory, not to mention random papers everywhere! Then I went outside and read my book for a bit, now I am going to try and switch my flight to Vancouver one day earlier...whoopie for 25 min on hold-bleh. Later, Katie, Layne, Ava, and Oliver are coming over for a big family dinner. I think Lasagna and salad and a strawberry dessert is on the menu! YUM. Small Minx update, she is a fly catching fiend.

Today... I slept in, enjoyed the morning with Minx, ate some eggs and I work this afternoon like yesterday. Tonight I might go to Dave and Barbs house to hang out. Andrew is away at a men's golf outing with church. Now I might go for a walk. Normal life in Edmonton.

Day 1...

Here is the start of I believe my second or third attempt to do a blog post once a day. My day so far... Woke up with Andrew, made him lunch, went for a 45 min walk, read Psalm 119:33-37 and tried to memorize some of it because that's what Gloria and I are doing together, came home, stopped Minx from eating a bee, Skyped with my best friend Emily, currently I am eating lunch then I am on my way out to the country to hang out with Yvonne and Rose, then hang with Cindy on my way home...
